My Peace Poem

Ghana is pregnant, and our development can't be stagnant. Mother Ghana's pregnancy has gotten to its peak, and with peace, it can only deliver at ease

Our development's fuel is peace Ghana is a nation whose population are endowed with great honor Our development is the common destiny we perceive and believe to achieve peace is what we need to keep till eternity

We need no peacekeeping force to keep our peace. we need to keep our peace through our speech and piece

Always remember that he whose piece speaks peace and speech preaches peace is at ease in peace and he who ceases worse words is at ease from diseases

We cannot afford to see judgment day on earth perpetrated by violence. we cannot afford to tear into pieces like other nations whose development is silenced by violence If you are abused by someone's words, let silence kill violence Ghana is our domicile of comfort A nation embedded with beautiful people with a common destiny we can't afford to terrorize the peace we savor and lose this great honor The red color of our flag depicts the bloodshed tears by our heroes who conquered our foes to gain independence

The yellow color is the priceless nature of our God-given resources which are so dense And the black in the middle signifies the black beauteous woman who preservers with her black man and her black progeny proving that black is our pride

And the green that shines revealing the beauty of nature and epitomizing that agriculture is part of our culture to nurture the nation and the future

There's no replacement for a nation like Ghana

Come Preach Peace (CPP) will summon all Ghanaians and ask (PPP) Please Preach Peace and let them know that Peace Never Cease (PNC)

(NPP), Never Perturb Peace will deliver its sermon and (NDC) Never destroy comfort* will admonish the nation to persevere

Never Demean Peace (NDP) and the Independent will prove to the nation, the essence of peace and stability that will continue to make us independent

As we head towards the polls, let's not throw a punch at the polls Let's choose our choice with our thumb as our voice Let's keep in mind that we can only elect, and the Almighty selects Don't be a vigilante, be vigilant

It is the duty of the police to provide service with integrity Let's maintain the chastity of peace and preserve our dignity with integrity Be wise fellow Ghanaians! Don't let the aggression of the politician elucidate our sanctity

Don't terrorize yourselves all because of the politician who is hungry for power If we decide to terrorize the peace we savor, everything will be sour

Beware of the politician, they will attend to you singing promising songs and they only know you every four years Your love for Ghana must be your first priority

Let's always remember, it is Ghanaians who vote and it is Ghana that wins the votes Let's continue to dwell in peace, tolerate and love one another because Ghana is our mother

Until then, we wait for a day, the EC will emulate the voice of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and say, at long last, The election has ended, Ghana! Your beloved country is peaceful forever.
